We Empower New Teachers to Succeed
ELP’s professional support model pairs New Teachers with In-Person Mentors and Virtual Instructional Coaches to help solve the chronic problem of teacher retention.
Our Program
With the support and guidance from experienced teachers, we believe New Teachers will become more confident and competent, faster.
New Teachers
Our program helps New Teachers develop competency and confidence faster, thus improving student learning and outcomes.
In-Person Mentors
New Teachers receive acclimation guidance and encouragement from In-Person Mentors as they build relationships inside and outside the school building.
Virtual Instructional Coaches
New Teachers work with a Virtual Instructional Coach to learn teaching methods and practices directly related to their subject matter and grade level.
ELP’s unique model works
Following our two-year pilot program, research showed that:
85% of New Teachers in the ELP pilot test plan to stay in teaching.
61% of New Teachers in the program say it helped them reduce teaching-related stress.
58% of New Teachers said it improved their work-life balance.
Our biggest takeaway: ELP helped New Teachers feel like they were NOT alone.
